As a company, we (Supported Living UK) are committed to working towards implementing the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) guidelines for WCAG 2.0 (published 2008) http://www.w3.org/WAI/intro/wcag.php/. As such, this is an ongoing development process to meet these WCAG 2.0 guidelines. The objective of WCAG 2.0 is to make websites accessible to persons with disabilities. Text Attributes
All images used on our website are labelled with ‘alt attributes’.
Where internal/external links are used within our web pages, hypertext is used to describe these links so that if the link is read out of context, it is still understandable.
For standardisation, all H1 tags are used for main titles. Our standard font for titles is 13 pixels.
Access Keys
For users who may have difficulty with using a mouse, we have created keyboard shortcut options to help with navigating our website. To select a page that you wish to view, press the ‘Alt’ key and whilst holding down, select the required number, then press ‘enter’ to go direct to this page.
